I was supposed to go out with Beth and Melanie for New Year's night before last, but things happen. Schedules change. People deal with that, right? I need to call Ken back too, but I'll see him at Oddity, so I guess it's not really necessary. I swear that place is named after him, but he'd claim otherwise. I didn't even used to know people like him, and now...

Well, just call him my "network" and leave it at that. I've got to talk to Rob too. I need to figure out this whole "on again/off again" thing with him or just decide to go our seperate ways. I know he wants to get back together with me, but I don't really need that in my life now and I've told him that. He hates to hear me say it. In a way, so do I.

Gotta run. Jim's trying to reach me too. He probably knows something about the investigation. This suspension is bad enough, but I think I can live with probation if it comes to that.
